Clinical Counselor + Art Therapist

Gilberto Meno-Gutierrez, also goes by Sonny, (He/Him/His) is an independently licensed counselor and board-certified art therapist with experience in behavioral health beginning in 2013. He uses an integrative framework informed by Psychodynamic, Adlerian, Rogerian and Feminist theories. His clinical experience ranges from guiding clients along issues related to sexual identity, autism, cultural issues, and dissociation. He provides gender-affirming, anti-oppressive, decolonial, and anti-carceral therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.

He continues to receive training, education and support to better guide you on your recovery. Currently he has completed phase 1 of Brainspotting training and actively holds, and in good standing, Board Certification and Registered Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor within state of Arizona, and is a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider.

He is also available to offer clinical supervision for Associates, Independent Clinicians, Art Therapists and Expressive Arts Therapists.
